Super Bowl Grub

We're headed to friends' and I'm making and taking Pioneer Woman's Olive Bread. This stuff leaves my daughter speechless. She wants to bath in it. For anyone whose never tried it, here's the recipe. http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2007/06/olive_cheese_br/

Give it a go!

Last night I made a Banana Cake with cream cheese frosting. It's scrumptious! I'll post photos right after lunch. Gotta run!

I love PW's Olive Bread, Dana. I've taken it to our church ladies meeting, and it was a huge hit.

I made PW's shredded pork today. Her sauce recipe to coat the roast was really tasty. I think I may use the same recipe on a brisket sometime.

Yum! I saw the shredded pork, it looked delish! I'll go check out her sauce, too.

Did you watch the game or knit and listen?

Actually, I spent most of the game at the computer. We recently moved my computer desk into an area adjacent to the living room. I can hear the tv, I can see Mike in his easy chair (and he can see me, of course), and a simple 'roll' of my desk chair across the room affords me a view of the tv. It's a great solution. We don't feel like we're always apart, yet I'm still doing what I'm addicted to, which is sitting at my computer.

As to knitting, I've been a knitting fiend all week, and took a break yesterday. :-)
